Lady Jailed For Stealing Boxers, 15 Bras In Kaduna
A 24-year-old girl, Linda David, has been sentenced to 2 years imprisonment by a Kaduna Magistrates’ Courtroom on Thursday, for stealing underwear valued at N115,000.
The Justice of the Peace, Ibrahim Emmanuel, sentenced David after she pleaded responsible to the cost and begged for leniency.
He nonetheless gave her an possibility of N40,000 wonderful and warned her to desist from lifetime of crime.

The defendant was charged with a one-count cost of stealing underwear.
Earlier, the prosecutor, Insp. Chidi Leo instructed the courtroom that David dedicated the offence on Might 12 at Trinity Grocery store alongside Ahmadu Bello Manner Kaduna.
In accordance with Leo, the defendant went into the grocery store and stole 20 pairs of panties, 20 items of boxers and 15 bras all valued at N115,000.
He said that the defendant was caught and handed over to the police by the safety officer of the grocery store who observed she had hidden a number of the stolen objects beneath her garments.
The prosecutor added that the offence contravened Part 217 of the Penal Code of Kaduna State, 2017.
