Philip Agbese, the Home of Representatives member-elect for Ado, Okpokwu and Ogbadibo Federal Constituency, has faulted the last-minute appointments made by President Muhammadu Buhari, as he palms over energy to the incoming authorities.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwart who expressed concern of the latest appointments resulting in looting, mentioned it ought to have been left for the brand new administration to deal with.

He mentioned;

“It’s on report that over 20 new appointments have been made since Bola Tinubu was declared president-elect.

“Why the push? It’s clear that the present authorities is intentionally build up obstacles for Tinubu. They’re giving room for chaos and an enormous vacuum in governance, probably opening the doorways for large looting.

“We’re conscious that these appointments are nothing in need of political compensation for loyalists and apparently don’t have anything to do with competence. At a time when Buhari would have at the least left a legacy by slicing the price of governance, he’s shelling out appointments like admission.”
