Kogi Police Claims CP’s Fb Account Hacked After Controversial Remark On Seun Kuti

The Kogi State Police Command has reacted to a controversial remark made by the State Commissioner of Police on Fb.
 
Akeem Yusuf with the Fb username, Kimo Akeem had said that the physique of Grammy-nominated afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti, might have been dumped within the lagoon for assaulting a police officer in Lagos State.
 
Following the backlash, the command has now claimed that his account was hacked.
 
In an announcement issued on Monday, the Kogi State Police Command spokesperson, William Aya, mentioned Yusuf’s Fb account was hacked; he didn’t deny that the CP owned the account.
 
“The assertion is pretend and deceptive with the intention to tarnish the picture and fame of the CP.

“It’s incumbent to let the general public know that the Fb account has been hacked since September 2022, and he has a number of occasions warned folks to ignore any message from that account,” he mentioned.
 
The PPRO urged the general public to ignore the assertion, including that it was the handiwork of some mischievous components who’re bent on tarnishing the picture and fame of the Commissioner.
